I was pleasantly surprised when the paperback arrived with a signed bookplate inside.

Thirteen years after her mother's passing, Eliza is finally stepping on a plane. She's headed to Scotland for her godmother's wedding. Both her godmothers, Olivia and Maxie, knew her mother best. The trio went to school together and stayed best friends. Throughout Eliza's life, her godmothers were always there for her. Now, on the cusp of Maxie's wedding, Eliza will be there for her too. But she has questions about her mother, questions Olivia and Maxie are nervous about, and Eliza's waited too long for answers.

This is a book that wraps you up in comfort. You get to know the characters intimately. I would love to see a continuation of the book, to focus on Alex and Rory, Eliza and Lawrence, and more of Eliza's family. The hotel and the land are lush, and readers can envision it from the detailed descriptions. This story is about moving on, finding yourself, letting go, and so much more. It's funny but also heartwarming. Overall, this is an enjoyable read. Thank you, Welbeck Publishing Group, for sending this along.
