I was intrigued by the premise of the book, and I feel like the Frist Impression held up! It read very quickly and it had a very cozy vibe. I immediately connected with the main character, maybe in part because her boss was so horrible and I was rooting for anyone but that lady. I like how quickly the book set up. In just 2 chapters, you know that Eliza is going to have an adventure, but since she zoned out, it's not clear to the reader yet just what she agreed to. I would definitely read more of the book!
In terms of the cover, I thought that it was cute, but it didn't really match what I read. I assume the girl in the middle is Eliza and the 2 others are her godmothers. The way it was drawn makes me think its about a group of friends or sisterhood or something, not about her godmothers helping her. I'm sure if you read more, the cover makes more sense. I did like the design other than that with the continuous looping line. Very trendy.
