The writing from this excerpt flowed really well. Personally, I don't think the story seems interesting to me, but that is just a personal preference. The author definitely leaves a lot of possibilities open for Eliza to grow considering the events from the excerpt. Overall, I just don't think this book is right for me, but I certainly think readers who enjoy contemporary fiction will probably like it!
