I am not generally into stories that have the main character coming back because of a big family secret. I also am in a reading slump so my barometer of if I like or not feels off. As far as I read, I think it is lame that mom is hiding who her dad is and keeps coming up with fibs instead of saying what it is. I think it is lame that the kids are bothering her about her dad.
