I hate how we skipped from the suicide to thirteen years later. Stories that start like this and then jump, lose my interest. I much prefer when the past is uncovered in the story. Plus, I hope something twisted is going on because the event doesn't play out right. Also, why are the Godmothers appearing now instead of then? I just don't have the patience to read and find out.
