This book sounds like it is a coming of age and mystery book. By just the title I was thinking it was a realistic fiction and possibly even a Cinderella retelling. But after reading the First Look, I know that it is most definitely not what I thought it was. I really like the cover how all of the colors used like tie together. The First Look says a tragic event happened, I'm very curious what that event was. Was it her mother dying or something more? I guess I'll just have to read it and find out.
