From the first chapter, this author just makes me want to hold the precious little Eliza. I feel for her when she talks about her family. The feelings she sits with, are a feeling everyone can relate to.
Love that Monica Mclnerney gives us some insight into how Eliza’s childhood has been already in chapter one. And in chapter two how her life is thirteen years later. I like the writing style, and I feel like this is a character I can relate too on different levels. I´m hooked!
I also really like the cover. The cover and the title was the one that made me want to read this book. Can`t wait till this one is published
