Even in this short excerpt, I find Eliza engaging and relatable. She has gone through something terrible and, like so many do, has turned to routine and order to find her solace and comfort. But the problem is, bad news finds her any way. This story is instantly so relatable. So many of us are feeling stuck in a spot but being scared to make a choice for fear of change until something shoves us in a direction, a choice. Very excited about this book.
