Good background for what will surely be a great story

This excerpt definitely sparked my interest. I love the backstory of Eliza’s relationships with her godmothers and the circumstances around her needing changes in her life. The excerpt presents an intriguing stepping off point for Eliza’s adventures to come. This book will definitely be added to my TBR pile!
