Told from the perspective of Anna, a young women struggling with anorexia, this book was completely different from other books I had read. This was not only heartbreaking but also informative. Her thoughts are what the reader sees and that insight into her brain was fascinating. I loved the role that Anna's husband, Matthias, had in the book. He was as supportive as he knew how to be and Anna's evolution throughout the book was powerful. I respected the characters and the struggles! I see how important it was that the author portrayed the other girls at 17 Swann Street. Although they had an eating disorder, the realitites and struggles were different to each girl Thank you to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for the opportunity to read this book.
