I find myself reading a lot of books that deal with mental illness, anorexia being no exception. I think this book seems like it will handle the content matter beautifully. The writing is compelling and leaves me wanting to finish the entire book in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoy the style of writing from the clinical intake form to the way the author handles writing the dialogue, I’m hooked. Anna also seems to have that sarcastic way about her that I am always excited to read in a book. I am eager to experience more with Anna and see what her time is like at 17 Swann Street. I can not wait until I get to see what the rest of the book has in store for her and the rest of the women at 17 Swann Street.
