I have always been facinated with the inner workings of a human mind. As horrible the subject matter was in this book, it was well written and kept me wanting more. It jumps between past and present. Through the main character meeting her husband before slowly falling into the grips of anorexia and to the present where she has been commited to 17 Swann Street to get treated. Following her struggles with eating again and eating particular foods.
This book shows that even when people want to get helped, it can be very hard for them to fight against the disease and change their habits like running or pushing food around your plate to make it look like you have been eating.
I really enjoyed the book.
