I will be recommending this book to everyone I know because it is about an important topic that we all need to understand better. The Girls at 17 Swann Street by Yara Zgheib will be published on 2.5.19. It's the story of a woman getting treatment for anorexia. This book does such a good job of showing how an eating disorder bleeds into every part of a person's life and what happens to relationships affected by it. I appreciated the incredible strength it must have taken Zgheib to express the darkest parts of this disease. My meager attempts to describe this book won't do it justice, so please just go read this book. I adored the characters, the poetic writing, and the emotional depth. I read it in two days. 5/5 stars.
