I really wasn't a fan of the writing style of The Girls at 17 Swan Street. I struggled to make it through the excerpt. The concept of reading about a girl struggling with anorexia and all the insecurities that come with it sounded interesting, but the clinical format and stream-of-consciousness writing just wasn't for me.
