This is the second book in this series, and I cannot wait to read the entire book! I read the first book and loved Arden's writing style. This book continues Vasya's journey as Arden puts fantasy with history, folklore, and Russian fairy tales. Vasya's character is wonderful, as she doesn't want to conform to the "typical" role of getting married, settling down. Her character inspires young girls to be what they want and I love that. I also love that you get more the of the frost demon in this book. I fell in love with the frost demon in the last book and look forward to more adventure with him.
The beauty in this book with vast detail of Russian and the hardships that people face add so much to the book! I look forward to reading the rest and cannot wait for more books in this series! Arden has become one of my favorite authors!
