I read the first book as a physical ARC from the publisher and absolutely fell in love with Katherine Arden's lush and descriptive writing style! I loved Vasya and the Russian folklore that the author weaved into her tale. And I'm a huge fan of Historical Fiction so I loved that it felt like that whioe mostly being Fantasy. This preview of Girl in the Tower reminded me of just how much I love this character, this story, and the author's magical writing style. You're transported right into the story. It's one of the most atmospheric books(preview) I've read and I can't wait to read the rest!
