I read Katherine Arden's first book and really enjoyed it. The excerpt of her new book, sequel to the first, made me excited to read the entire book. I enjoy the lushness of Arden's' prose. In her writing, the words feel like velvet and silk as the are read. Just beautiful prose. The story is a wonderful continuation of the first book.
