I read "The Bear and Nightingale" and loved the flavor of an old Russian fairytale it invoked. This second installment is continuing that same feeling of being swept up in the dark, wintry magic of a long-ago time. The writing is elegant and creates a beautiful world of ice, romance and danger. Bravo!
