I would have to say this book wasn't my favorite. It was a little thin on plot and length. The cover however is one of the best I've seen. I like a cover that draws you in and gives a glimpse of the story within.
The family squabbles are a little too much. The daughter Willow isn't described enough for me to grasp her feelings, but the book ends with her leaving. I think she was a primary character but not treated like one. The book switched between characters thoughts quite a bit, and it was hard to follow. I had to go back and reread some pages to understand what was going on and felt the plot ran together. It was a depressing read without any redemption.The cover says its about a family who destroys itself and I agree with that!
