The cover of the book is nice. I like the fair scene and the use of multiple colors on the cover.
The writing is not to my personal taste, but I think that has more to do with my own preferences rather than the actual quality of the writing style. I do enjoy dramas, but as someone from Texas, I think I am just ready for a break from every novel I read that's placed in Texas depicting characters filled with twang. If I take a break from reading southern novels and revisit later, I would likely enjoy the story more.
