There's few aspects of this book that I can relate to, like the small town atmosphere where you can't avoid anyone. Carel seems like a normal small town neighbor where you go to see what's going on anytime emergency vehicles are out but then it definitely takes a turn. You find out that Carel is not the guy he seems to be at first and then he just gets worse.
I'm curious about Willow and her mother. I feel like Willow could be my sister. Definitely relatable. The cover is gorgeous with those beautiful colors!
