I liked the cover and the start of the book a fire during the night in the small town of Fredericksburg, Texas. And then we meet the main character. He immediately sets off to the fire. The reader thinks nice guy. No, he finds the owner, talks about insurance fraud, and forces the owners into selling him the property for peanuts so they avoid insurance fraud....Stop. For me, I just didn’t care to read further.
