My first impression of this book is the beautiful cover art! Ferris wheels and colorful sunsets...does not get more typical American than that. The quick synopsis reminds me of another novel with a fair (and the first ferris wheel) and the brutal twists and truths which are unearthed with it. I love to read and be educated about areas of our country and the world I would otherwise be ignorant to. The drama in this story seems captivating as well as educational.
