I actually loved this book more than I anticipated. The heist involving the team of misfits reminded me of Six of Crows but in its own unique voice. The historical fiction was beautifully done and transported me to a beautiful place and time. I was kept on my toes with the ins and outs of the heist, not knowing what was planned and what went off course. The character development ez such a joy tk witness. You see these complex characters that ha e baggage from the past and yet have their own intricate relationships to navigate. Watching each having to put full trust in other thieves essentially was a tight wire act, you could sense the tension in this give and take adventure. Definitely a great read!
