I really loved this book! It brought together so many cultures and languages...it was beautiful to see them collide. I also have a special love for Egyptian art and culture so this was perfect for me because it focused around exactly that.
The world was really interesting and I am excited to learn more about it. I'm interested in the magic system that exists because it's unlike any other I've seen.
The group of characters were great....they were a mix of The Raven Cycle and Six of Crows. They did change in personality a bit after one of them dies which I didn't particularly enjoy though. I understand death can change and hurt people but it seemed too drastic.
This book also left off on one hell of a cliff hanger!
I did find it a bit predictable though in who was behind the heists and the secret society.
