A captivating book filled with light-heartening humor
I always begin by discussing the cover and this will be no exception. The intricate design on the cover melds perfectly with the idea that people can mark things with their house symbol. It is very eye-catching and calls you to pick it up and dive into its magical realm.
The writing style was very enjoyable. I think my favorite aspect was the way the author weaved humor throughout, mostly thanks to Severin and Enrique. Those two had me laughing almost the entire book. I really enjoyed how each of the six main characters was unique and so well developed. I bonded with them, traveling beside them as they embarked on a possible life-threatening treasure hunt to restore power to the rightful heir. All with a gripping plot that never dulls.
