Mystery and danger lurking at every twist and turn...

I recently met the author at a convention, though I had not actually heard of her or her books prior. Therefore, this first impression is pleasing. The writing is strong and vivid. I haven't quite yet figured out what this work would be comparable, obviously not one of my typical-for-me reads. Yet, at the same time, the writing does draw in my attention and I am thirsty for more than just a peak.

The air of sophistication, and perhaps a bit of pretentiousness too, but I do want to know more about the matriarch of House Kore.
