Intriguing world-building from the start!
I've been wanting to read a Roshani Chokshi book for a while now, so I was so happy to read a first look of THE GILDED WOLVES! First, let's start off with the cover—isn't it absolutely gorgeous? I love the leaves and intricate gold wiring.
Now on to the story itself, the novel begins with an overload of interesting world building as the author sets up the story. Once the first chapter actually begins, though, the main character takes over and the world building is more naturally included. The cast of characters seems interesting so far and I'm excited about what lies in store for them.
