I love books like this one because my family has been part of the Free Masons forever. Although this book doesn't seem to delve into that subject knowing about Free Masons and the (sorry but ridiculous) theories that surround the organization hooks me immediately. I wish it was really as exciting as it's made out to be by conspiracy theorists and authors.
Historical fiction is my niche. I am, have always been and will always a history geek. I can't get enough of it. I've learned more history reading hitorical fiction than I did through high school and college. I thank every author who researches to write historical fiction. You do people like me a great service.
The other genre I read is mystery/thriller. How can anything be more perfect than a book like this that combines my two reading loves?
