I loved this book just from the cover! The idea of 4 houses ruling Paris where the leader of each house imprints forged items with the house symbol to ensure no one takes it from the house. A murder, a disgraced heir and an unmarked artifact make for an exciting first chapter! The magical realism combined with the mystery and a thrilling pace, I can't wait to read more!
