Oh my goodness, what a treat this novel will be! My students love Chokshi already, and they will certainly be clamoring for this new series. Set in 1889 Paris, this luxuriously descriptive work paints a spectacular portrait for the reader, simply in the first pages of the novel. I'm hooked from the start, and can't wait to get my hands on a copy!
