At first look, The Gilded Wolves reads as a very compelling and complex fantasy novel that could also fall into the mystery genre (seeing as how the novel opens with a pretty dramatic murder). I was surprised to see the book was categorized as Young Adult, but I’m assuming that once more characters are introduced, the genre classification will become apparent. The cover is is interesting and fitting for the subject and time period. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear a lot of buzz and excitement about the release of this book.
