The German House tells the story of a young woman who begins a job as a translator and soon becomes thrown into the mix of recounting all of the horrible details of everything that happened at the concentration camps during the Holocaust.

Overall, I would give this story 4 out of 5 stars. Well written, unique, and hard to put down. A sweet love story mixed with the harrowing details of World War II, this was an interesting and unique approach to a common genre in the book world. I think the author did a great job of taking something common and adding her own twist to make it different. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves World War II fiction and well written stories.
