I love historical fiction set in Germany, and I think this one particularly stands out from the others I have read because it is set after the war. I think it is a portion of history that is not as frequently explored in literature so I am excited to see what the author does with it. The idea of a woman working as a translator is also intriguing to me. I’m excited to read it!
