While this time period is my favorite for reading, the intrigue is what grabbed me. I cannot imagine the horrors, and lies that were told to the country men of this time, about what was occurring in Germany during this time.

It seems like the main female character, Eva, leads life too safe. She's too willing to go along with what others want for her, asking no questions of any kind, going along with others expectations of how she should live life every day - but it sounds like all that is going to change and I can't wait to find out how she breaks out of the molds everyone else have made for her. She will also learn that her family believed all they were told about WWII and kept perpetuating the illusions for all those years and I can only hope she will bust it wide open for all to see the truth.

I can't wait to find out!!
