I am a huge fan of WW2 historical fiction, so I knew I needed to read this excerpt. The few pages I read pulled me in immediately and had me hooked to hear more of Eva's story.
The war shook people to it's core and following it, so many people didn't want to talk about their involvement in it (either as a victim, abuser, or stand-by witness). Cannot wait to see what role this family had in it and how it will come to light. Secrets rarely stay buried.
