Eva has a pretty peaceful life. Her family seems nice. They own a restaurant. She has a sister who is a nurse and a kid brother. She’s met a man and she’s waiting for an official proposal. He hasn’t yet asked her father for Eva’s hand. Eva has a job as a translator. Life seems pretty normal until the day Eva is called in to translate something unusual. It begins with descriptions of a group of people being held prisoner and gassed. Eva is shocked, she doesn’t really understand what this is about. It’s now twenty plus years since the Holocaust, Eva is German, and she’s about to have her eyes opened to what happened.
