Great Start
I was initially drawn in by the book cover, I liked the simple title and picture. After reading the description I knew I wanted to read the first look.
I loved that Annette Hess began with the sense of smell, it really pulled me into the story and I could visualize things so much with that not-as-commonly utilized sense. The story captured me right away, and the writing made for a quick read. It’s a book that keeps you wanting to turn the page to find out what happens next!
