I was sucked into this book right from the start and want to find out what happens. The Auschwitz trials are the proverbial train wreck that you don't want to know about, because of the horror, but can't stop reading about. I find Eva, the main character, fascinating as she struggles with love and a job that most of us would not be able to do - translate for the accused. I look forward to reading the rest of this book and seeing what happens to Eva and her future.
