In the first few pages, it was extraordinarily ordinary. A young woman trying to impress a man who she wants to marry and then she is called into work. Then she works at translating a story so shocking, told with such apathy.
I was reading this, thinking about how interesting it is to see this different perspective. Eva wasn't around during the war but heard about it presumably. How often do we get the perspective of the next generation?
