Let me just start by saying that I am not a scientist. But I'm married to one and love learning new things, despite the challenges of breaking through the scientific jargon.
This is not something I would generally read. I'd probably rather read a shorter magazine or newspaper article about something like this, rather than an entire book. It has a lot of medical and scientific terminology that can be hard to follow, at least for me it was. I did find many aspects of this book to be very intriguing and fascinating, like the stories of patients and their medical issues. I found it to be encouraging and heartwarming that there are medical experts, like my husband, working very hard to do scientific research in order to help us cure all sorts of diseases!
