I am one for learning new things especially things along the line of science and dna. This book definitely satisfied that and was super interesting just in general. It talks about genome mapping and how it has progressed in the past few years and just how it works. The author also puts in fun little comments that I adore. It could have been a bit simpler to read and the different sections could have been in a better order. You can tell that the author knows a lot about this stuff and is super passionate about it. They also talk about their personal experiences with the human genome mapping and about the people who they worked with and how their specific input made an impact on his work and the book. Along with this they also include pictures to better understand some things and does a really good job describing things to people who maybe don’t know anything about this field.
