This is a must read for even the curious about human genomes! It is very in-depth & filled with so much information. It took me a bit longer to read than normal because I would research parts of the book as I went. As someone with a defect in one of my genomes, I enjoyed finding out how the whole genome sequence came to be & how it’s information has transformed what we know about human DNA. While this book is a must for anyone in the medical field, I also believe if you are someone interested in learning more about human genomes then you should also read this! The information on how each part of our DNA works & the large amount of people behind getting the world a better understanding of our bodies is incredible! I would have never known over half of the different parts that make up my one genetic difference, heck without this project undertaking I doubt I would have ever even known about my own genetics & how they work. This is a great book!
