This book was packed with insights into genome research and the author breaks it down in such a way that makes it easy for the reader to understand. Although genomes are fairly new to the public, scientists have committed extensive time in researching genomes and what they mean for our health and many other aspects of biological sciences. I would have never even considered looking into genomes but when I saw this book, I was definitely interested and I am glad I was able to read this because I learned so much that I didn't even know I wanted to learn. The flow of the text was flawless, it transitioned from one aspect to another with ease without leaving the reader confused or lost. While covering a subject like science many non fiction books fall into a monotonous tone that leads to a boring read but The Genome Odyssey was a great read and was quite engaging for a fact-filled book
