I think this is an interesting bit of recent and relevant history and I'm glad that Dr. Ashley has taken the time to write about his introduction to and subsequent interpretation of the human genome. While I think it is a fascinating bit of history being preserved, I'm not super keen on reading about it right now. Perhaps in the future though, I will feel more inclined to read a scientific memoir type story, just right now not feeling it.
