My job has made me super interested in genetics and while I knew that genome sequencing was happening, I had no idea it had come so far as to be somewhat available to the everyday person. I think this information bring the possibility of so many options, but also the responsibility of having that information. What I like most at first blush about this book is the presentation of the science in a way that is not off-putting to the every day person which I think makes this much more accessible.
