I was sucked right into this book. The author uses a very conversational tone to the entire thing, which makes the science easy to consume. So far, I appreciate the balance between stories/personal or patient information and scientific development (scientific advancement vs how the tech affects us). I think the level of background details (cost, number of people involved, etc.) is included appropriately. I think anyone could pick this up and learn a lot.
