This book was about time travel and changing a lot of aspects of women’s rights. It’s set in an almost alternate world to our own and the characters are trying to go back and change events that have led to hardships on women. The interesting part of this book was the varying perspectives and timelines. Beth and Tess are really interesting characters who both have journeys to follow that are exciting and compelling. I felt that as a secondary character, Beth’s story was a little more interesting than Tess’ because it was more relatable and I was more invested in her outcome. I felt like the time travel aspect could have been explored in a more sci fi fashion in which they developed the nature of the time travel and the hows and whys. I also felt like certain parts got a bit repetitive and slow for me. Overall, I did enjoy this book, but I didn’t love it.
