This science fiction book takes us back to 1992 at a punk rock concert. Our main character has traveled back in time to do..something. Although we aren't really clued in to her ultimate intent, she also expresses a desire to stop her past self from being involved in a murder and the subsequent cover up. But the murder happens, and it appears the girls cover it up, so it seems like she failed in her mission.
But then her past self remarks that the worst thing that could come out of the scenario is that her father would find out that she had broken the rules, something about which the reader has no knowledge, and now I want to find out more about this father and the rules!
