The Grape Ape, a riot grrl group is performing in California in 1992. Tess is there from a time-traveling future of 2022, and Beth is there in the current time. Both have confrontations with men that evening. Tess' is already reflective of men trying to change the future, but apparently Beth's might be too. Hard to imagine the future hinging on an alt concert in the 1990's - and time travel is notoriously messy to write anyways. Not impressed with the way this one starts.
